Shakespeare Class: This Week’s Learning
17/05/2021: Reminders for the week ahead
- Our PE days are Monday and Friday. Children should wear PE kit to school on these days. PE lessons will take place outside. School uniform should be worn on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- School dinners are available. If your child has a packed lunch, please ensure this is in a disposable container where possible.
- Our timings for the day are arrival between 8:45 and 9:00 until 3:10. Please ensure you stick to these timings.
This week’s learning
In English we will be completing writing assessments based on Journey. We will also be completing reading and GPS assessments.
In maths we will be revising the four rules: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will also be completing assessments.
In Science we are learning about the major organs inside our body.
In RE we will be using technology to discover more facts about Sikhism.
In Topic we will be learning how to read Ordnance Survey maps.
In PSHE we will be completing the story of the Jigsaw characters.
In art we will be creating abstract art based on contour lines.
In computing we are researching Sikhism and creating a word document using what we have learnt.
In French we are learning to ask and answer questions about what we can do in school.
In music we are continuing our unit on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. This week we are listening to ‘U Can’t Touch This’ by MC Hammer
In PE, we will be continuing to develop our tennis skills.
