15.10.18: Reminders for the week ahead
- PE on Monday and Thursday (Please make sure PE kit is in school)

This week’s learning
In Maths, we will complete end of term assessments focusing upon place value and the four operations.
In English, we will develop, read and act out our script for our Mayan class assembly. We will compare and contrast characters from our text, “Holes”. We will also complete a reading comprehension and GPS assessment
In GPS we will complete our end of term assessment and spelling test. We will also continue to learn about and use semi colons
In Science, we will investigate the relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection.
In Topic, we will learn about the Maya number system: draw numbers to 39 and even attempt calculations.
In RE we will explain Sikh beliefs about creation
In Music, we will continue to recognise the style indicators of Michael Jackson’s music.
In French, we will complete our end of unit assessment about the weather.
In Art, we will be painting our pottery using a traditional Mayan design.
In Computing, we will film our own Mayan animation we have been creating.
In PE, we will recap sections of our Mayan dance so far. In tag rugby, we will continue practise sending and receiving the ball through drills and small-sided games.
