Nightingale Class: This week’s learning
11.02.19 – Reminders for the week.
- PE on Tuesday and Wednesday (Please make sure PE kit is in school).
- Homework needs to be handed in by Wednesday.
- Spelling test will take place on Wednesday.
This Weeks Learning:
In Maths we will be recognising and finding a 1/3 of a shape and an amount.
In English we will be reading and writing poems linked to our Topic.
In Science we will be explaining how some animals adapt in Winter.
In Topic we will be learning about the effects of Global Warming on the Polar regions.
In RE we will be reading the story of The Monkey and the King before looking at and understanding different points of view.
In Art we will be making Valentines Day cards.
In PHSE children will be recognising when they become bored or frustrated and how they can overcome this.
In PE this week, Mr Digby will be continuing with the dance unit. On Wednesday with Miss Weeks children will be combining their skills in balance and agility to complete a range of activities.
In Computing we will be creating programs with a sequence of linked instructions on the ScratchJr program.
In Music we will be listening and appraising the song ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ by The Beeatles and comparing it to I Wanna Play In A Band. We will then be performing ‘I wanna play in a band’.
