Welcome to Darwin Class
I’m Miss Woodcock, I joined Sandhurst School in September 2017 and have been teaching the Big Potters whilst carrying out my teacher training. I will be continuing on at Sandhurst School in September 2018 as a full-time teacher of Darwin Class.
I love all aspects of school life and particularly enjoy teaching maths, science and history. I also enjoy teaching P.E and love watching the children grow and gain confidence in any aspect of their learning.
I like getting to know all the pupils, ensuring lessons are engaging and like helping them to fulfil their potential. I am a big fan of outdoor learning and relish the opportunity to take our learning outside as much as possible.

Our Class Name
Charles Robert Darwin,(12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882) was an English naturalist, geologist and biologist, best known for his contributions to the science of evolution. He established that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors, publishing his theory of evolution with compelling evidence in his 1859 book “On the Origin of Species”.
