Viki was elected as a co-opted governor in the Summer Term 2016. She has lived in Sandhurst on and off since 1992 and has been involved in the school since that time.
After an initial career as an Early Years Teacher, Viki moved into Further then Higher Education where she spent time training Teaching Assistants and Nursery Nurses before moving to focus on teaching Education Management and Initial teacher training. After spells as Director of two Lifelong Learning Networks developing vocational pathways into higher education, she is now the Head of Apprenticeships at the University of Brighton.
Her eldest son attended Sandhurst Primary and at that time she worked part time at the nursery as well as helping out as a volunteer running after school clubs. She is pleased to be able to re-engage with the school in her new role as a governor and hopes that the skills she has learned in her broad career in education can add value to the team.
