Co-opted Governor

Andrew was elected to his first governor position at Sandhurst Primary in January 2017. He currently volunteers with a charity who help the deaf and hard of hearing and was keen to increase his volunteering within the community.
He brings experience and knowledge from his IT career at the Telegraph and then the TES (Times Education Supplement) where Andrew saw first hand how teachers are using exciting new technical solutions to help them in the classroom and beyond.
After working at the TES Andrew joined a social enterprise as a co-founder which works with agencies and charities to help disadvantaged children. He therefore has a particular interest in Pupil Premium and the experience and attainment of disadvantaged students.
