2018 Sensory Garden Opening

Home / All-News / News / 2018 Sensory Garden Opening
On an incredibly hot Friday afternoon, Jo Thompson, local gardening designer and Chelsea Show winner, opened our ‘sensory garden’.
We celebrated the event with specially decorated bunting, a visit from Marley the magician and a slice of celebratory cake made especially by our one and only Mrs Heather Lawrence!
Thanks, once again, to everyone and their hard work in collecting the vital ’blue tokens’ from Tesco. We couldn’t have done it without your help!
Along with a £500 donation from Caterlink, lots of design and building help from Mr Schooley, kind donations from Mr Piper, fencing by George Harding, donations from Johnsons and Sandhurst Service Station, the garden is really beginning to take shape.
Thanks must also go to Mr Digby, Mrs Reeves, Mrs Cackett and all the parent volunteers and the hard work of the school gardening club.
